The majority of the shareholders are Newcastle business persons. The company has a Board of Directors consisting of four individuals from professional and business backgrounds. MISSION STATEMENT To operate as a diversified thoroughbred trading company, investing shareholder's funds in the following ventures: Breeding from our own broodmares and selling the offspring as weanlings or yearlings. Stallion share investment. Pinhooking (purchasing weanlings, rearing and on selling as yearlings). Racing horses in sydicates and partnerships. To foster our relationship with high profile industry participants. It is the company's intention to pursue investments in the above areas both now and in the future. ACHIEVEMENTS Breeding and selling quality thoroughbreds, most of which have had race track success in the company's short history. An ownership share in the leading first season sire Snitzel, second in the freshman and third in the two year old Sires list for 2009/10 stallions in Australia and also had outstanding success in Japan from his only northern hemisphere assignment.As of March 2011 KBS completed a share acquision in the champion dual Group 1 winning 3yo colt Star Witness to commence Stud duties September 2011. A number of successful outcomes from our investment with partners has resulted in the sale of yearlings up to $150,000 and broodmares up to $270,000. Equity investments with high profile industry operators Widden Stud and Arrowfield Stud. Proven race track success from limited starters owned in partnership by Kingston Bloodstock has to date produced metropolitan winners at Rosehill and Eagle Farm. 6.
